| حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ , عَنْ عَامِرٍ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا , قَالَ : ” أَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْرًا , فَقَالُوا : هَذَا دُفِنَ أَوْ دُفِنَتِ الْبَارِحَةَ , قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا : فَصَفَّنَا خَلْفَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا ” . |

| ´ہم سے یعقوب بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا ہم سے یحییٰ بن ابی بکیر نے ‘ انہوں نے کہا ہم سے زائدہ نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ابواسحاق شیبانی نے ‘ ان سے عامر نے ‘ ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ` رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک قبر پر تشریف لائے۔ صحابہ نے عرض کیا کہ اس میت کو گزشتہ رات دفن کیا گیا ہے۔ (صاحب قبر مرد تھا یا عورت تھی) ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا کہ پھر ہم نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے صف بندی کی اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز جنازہ پڑھائی۔ |

| Narrated ‘Amir: Ibn `Abbas (who was at that time a boy) said, “Allah’s Apostle came to a grave and the people said, ‘He or she was buried yesterday.’ ” Ibn `Abbas added, “We aligned behind the Prophet and he led the funeral prayer of the deceased.” |
