| حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءٌ ، سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، يَقُولُ : ” كُنَّا لَا نَأْكُلُ مِنْ لُحُومِ بُدْنِنَا فَوْقَ ثَلَاثِ مِنًى ، فَرَخَّصَ لَنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : كُلُوا وَتَزَوَّدُوا ، فَأَكَلْنَا وَتَزَوَّدْنَا ” ، قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ : أَقَالَ حَتَّى جِئْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ ، قَالَ : لَا . |

| ´ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے یحییٰ بن سعیدقطان نے، ان سے ابن جریج نے، ان سے عطاء نے، انہوں نے جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما سے سنا، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ` ہم اپنی قربانی کا گوشت منیٰ کے بعد تین دن سے زیادہ نہیں کھاتے تھے، پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں اجازت دے دی اور فرمایا کہ کھاؤ بھی اور توشہ کے طور پر ساتھ بھی لے جاؤ، چنانچہ ہم نے کھایا اور ساتھ بھی لائے۔ ابن جریج نے کہا کہ میں نے عطاء سے پوچھا کیا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہ بھی کہا تھا کہ یہاں تک کہ ہم مدینہ پہنچ گئے، انہوں نے کہا نہیں ایسا نہیں فرمایا۔ |

| Narrated Ibn Juraij: `Ata’ said, “I heard Jabir bin `Abdullah saying, ‘We never ate the meat of the Budn for more than three days of Mina. Later, the Prophet gave us permission by saying: ‘Eat and take (meat) with you. So we ate (some) and took (some) with us.’ ” I asked `Ata’, “Did Jabir say (that they went on eating the meat) till they reached Medina?” `Ata’ replied, “No.” |
