| حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ” الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا ، أَوْ يَقُولُ أَحَدُهُمَا لِصَاحِبِهِ : اخْتَرْ ” ، وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ : أَوْ يَكُونُ بَيْعَ خِيَارٍ . |

| ´ہم سے ابوالنعمان نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے حماد بن زید نے بیان کیا، ان سے ایوب سختیانی نے بیان کیا، ان سے نافع نے اور ان سے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا کہ` رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، خریدنے والے اور بیچنے والے کو (بیع توڑ دینے کا) اس وقت تک اختیار ہے جب تک وہ جدا نہ ہو جائیں۔ یا دونوں میں سے کوئی ایک اپنے دوسرے فریق سے یہ نہ کہہ دے کہ پسند کر لو۔ کبھی یہ بھی کہا کہ ”یا اختیار کی شرط کے ساتھ بیع ہو۔“ |

| Narrated Ibn `Umar: Allah’s Apostle said, “The seller and the buyer have the option of canceling or confirming the deal unless they separate, or one of them says to the other, ‘Choose (i.e. decide to cancel or confirm the bargain now).” Perhaps he said, ‘Or if it is an optional sale.’ ” Ibn `Umar, Shuraih, Ash-Shu`bi, Tawus, Ata, and Ibn Abu Mulaika agree upon this judgment. |
