| وأَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَا : ” لَمْ يَكُنْ يُؤَذَّنُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَلَا يَوْمَ الْأَضْحَى ” . |

| ´اور مجھے عطاء نے ابن عباس اور جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما کے واسطہ سے خبر دی کہ` عیدالفطر اور عید الاضحی کی نماز کے لیے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور خلفائے راشدین کے عہد میں اذان نہیں دی جاتی تھی۔ |
