| حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، وَمُعَاذُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ ، قَالَا : أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : ” رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَرَأَ : إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ سورة الانشقاق آية 1 فَسَجَدَ بِهَا ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَلَمْ أَرَكَ تَسْجُدُ ؟ قَالَ : لَوْ لَمْ أَرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْجُدُ لَمْ أَسْجُدْ ” . |

| ´ہم سے مسلم بن ابراہیم اور معاذ بن فضالہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے ہشام بن ابی عبداللہ دستوائی نے بیان کیا، ان سے یحییٰ بن ابی کثیر نے، ان سے ابوسلمہ نے کہا کہ` میں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو سورۃ «إذا السماء انشقت» پڑھتے دیکھا۔ آپ نے اس میں سجدہ کیا میں نے کہا کہ اے ابوہریرہ! کیا میں نے آپ کو سجدہ کرتے ہوئے نہیں دیکھا ہے۔ آپ نے کہا کہ اگر میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو سجدہ کرتے نہ دیکھتا تو میں بھی نہ کرتا۔ |

| Narrated Abu Salma: I saw Abu Huraira reciting Idha-Sama’ un-Shaqqat and he prostrated during its recitation. I asked Abu Huraira, “Didn’t I see you prostrating?” Abu Huraira said, “Had I not seen the Prophet prostrating, I would not have prostrated.” |
