| حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : ” صَلَّيْتُ الظُّهْرَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَرْبَعًا وَبِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ” . |

| ´ہم سے ابونعیم نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے سفیان نے، محمد بن منکدر اور ابراہیم بن میسرہ سے بیان کیا، ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ` میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ مدینہ منورہ میں ظہر کی چار رکعت پڑھی اور ذوالحلیفہ میں عصر کی دو رکعت پڑھی۔ |

| Narrated Anas bin Malik: offered four rak`at of Zuhr prayer with the Prophet (p.b.u.h) at Medina and two rak`at at Dhul-Hulaifa. (i.e. shortened the `Asr prayer). |
