| حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَمُرَةُ بْنُ جُنْدَبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الرُّؤْيَا , قَالَ : ” أَمَّا الَّذِي يُثْلَغُ رَأْسُهُ بِالْحَجَرِ ، فَإِنَّهُ يَأْخُذُ الْقُرْآنَ فَيَرْفِضُهُ وَيَنَامُ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ ” . |

| ´ہم سے مؤمل بن ہشام نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے اسماعیل بن علیہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے عوف اعرابی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے ابورجاء نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے سمرہ بن جندب رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا` ان سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خواب بیان کرتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ جس کا سر پتھر سے کچلا جا رہا تھا وہ قرآن کا حافظ تھا مگر وہ قرآن سے غافل ہو گیا اور فرض نماز پڑھے بغیر سو جایا کرتا تھا۔ |

| Narrated Samura bin Jundab: The Prophet said in his narration of a dream that he saw, “He whose head was being crushed with a stone was one who learnt the Qur’an but never acted on it, and slept ignoring the compulsory prayers.” |
