Hadith in Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ هِنْدٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَة ، وَعَمْرٍو ، وَيَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ هِنْدٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ : اسْتَيْقَظَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ ، فَقَالَ : ” سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ ، مَاذَا أُنْزِلَ اللَّيْلَةَ مِنَ الْفِتَنِ ، وَمَاذَا فُتِحَ مِنَ الْخَزَائِنِ ، أَيْقِظُوا صَوَاحِبَاتِ الْحُجَرِ ، فَرُبَّ كَاسِيَةٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا عَارِيَةٍ فِي الْآخِرَةِ
Urdu Translation
´صدقہ نے ہم سے بیان کیا، انہیں ابن عیینہ نے معمر کے واسطے سے خبر دی، وہ زہری سے روایت کرتے ہیں، زہری ہند سے، وہ ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے، (دوسری سند میں) عمرو اور یحییٰ بن سعید زہری سے، وہ ایک عورت سے، وہ ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت کرتی ہیں کہ` ایک رات نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیدار ہوتے ہی فرمایا کہ سبحان اللہ! آج کی رات کس قدر فتنے اتارے گئے ہیں اور کتنے ہی خزانے بھی کھولے گئے ہیں۔ ان حجرہ والیوں کو جگاؤ۔ کیونکہ بہت سی عورتیں (جو) دنیا میں (باریک) کپڑا پہننے والی ہیں وہ آخرت میں ننگی ہوں گی۔
English Translation
Narrated Um Salama: One night Allah’s Apostle got up and said, “Subhan Allah! How many afflictions have been descended tonight and how many treasures have been disclosed! Go and wake the sleeping lady occupants of these dwellings (his wives) up (for prayers). A well-dressed (soul) in this world may be naked in the Hereafter.
