| وَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ , عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا , قَالَتْ : ” كَانَتْ عِنْدِي امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : مَنْ هَذِهِ ؟ , قُلْتُ : فُلَانَةُ لَا تَنَامُ بِاللَّيْلِ فَذُكِرَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهَا ، فَقَالَ : مَهْ عَلَيْكُمْ مَا تُطِيقُونَ مِنَ الْأَعْمَالِ ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَمَلُّ حَتَّى تَمَلُّوا ” . |

| ´اور امام بخاری رحمہ اللہ نے فرمایا کہ ہم سے عبداللہ بن مسلمہ قعنبی نے بیان کیا، ان سے مالک رحمہ اللہ نے، ان سے ہشام بن عروہ نے، ان سے ان کے والد نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے فرمایا کہ` میرے پاس بنو اسد کی ایک عورت بیٹھی تھی، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تشریف لائے تو ان کے متعلق پوچھا کہ یہ کون ہیں؟ میں نے کہا کہ یہ فلاں خاتون ہیں جو رات بھر نہیں سوتیں۔ ان کی نماز کا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے ذکر کیا گیا۔ لیکن آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ بس تمہیں صرف اتنا ہی عمل کرنا چاہیے جتنے کی تم میں طاقت ہو۔ کیونکہ اللہ تعالیٰ تو (ثواب دینے سے) تھکتا ہی نہیں تم ہی عمل کرتے کرتے تھک جاؤ گے۔ |

| Narrated ‘Aisha: A woman from the tribe of Bani Asad was sitting with me and Allah’s Apostle (p.b.u.h) came to my house and said, “Who is this?” I said, “(She is) So and so. She does not sleep at night because she is engaged in prayer.” The Prophet said disapprovingly: Do (good) deeds which is within your capacity as Allah never gets tired of giving rewards till you get tired of doing good deeds.” |
