| حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسٌ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ هُوَ ابْنُ فَرُّوخَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ , قَالَ : ” أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلَاثٍ لَا أَدَعُهُنَّ حَتَّى أَمُوتَ ، صَوْمِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ ، وَصَلَاةِ الضُّحَى ، وَنَوْمٍ عَلَى وِتْرٍ ” . |

| ´ہم سے مسلم بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہمیں شعبہ نے خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے عباس جریری نے جو فروخ کے بیٹے تھے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوعثمان نہدی نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ` مجھے میرے جانی دوست (نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) نے تین چیزوں کی وصیت کی ہے کہ موت سے پہلے ان کو نہ چھوڑوں۔ ہر مہینہ میں تین دن روزے۔ چاشت کی نماز اور وتر پڑھ کر سونا۔ |

| Narrated Abu Huraira: My friend (the Prophet) advised me to do three things and I shall not leave them till I die, these are: To fast three days every month, to offer the Duha prayer, and to offer witr before sleeping. |
