| حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : ” إِذَا كَانَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ ، فَلَا يَبْزُقَنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ ، وَلَكِنْ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ الْيُسْرَى ” . |

| ´ہم سے محمد بن بشار نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے غندر نے بیان کیا، ان سے شعبہ نے، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے قتادہ سے سنا، وہ انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کرتے تھے کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جب تم میں سے کوئی نماز میں ہو تو وہ اپنے رب سے سرگوشی کرتا ہے، اس لیے اس کو سامنے نہ تھوکنا چاہیے اور نہ دائیں طرف البتہ بائیں طرف اپنے قدم کے نیچے تھوک لے۔ |

| Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, “Whenever anyone of you is in prayer, he is speaking in private to his Lord and so he should neither spit in front of him nor on his right side but to his left side under his left foot.” |
