| حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ أَيُّوبُ : وَسَمِعْتُ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتَ سِيرِينَ , قَالَتْ : حَدَّثَتْنَا أُمُّ عَطِيَّةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ” أَنَّهُنَّ جَعَلْنَ رَأْسَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلَاثَةَ قُرُونٍ نَقَضْنَهُ ، ثُمَّ غَسَلْنَهُ ، ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَهُ ثَلَاثَةَ قُرُونٍ ” . |

| ´ہم سے احمد بن صالح نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے عبداللہ بن وہب نے بیان کیا انہیں ابن جریج نے خبر دی، ان سے ایوب نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے حفصہ بنت سیرین سے سنا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ام عطیہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے ہم سے بیان کیا کہ` انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی صاحبزادی کے بالوں کو تین لٹوں میں تقسیم کر دیا تھا۔ پہلے بال کھولے گئے پھر انہیں دھو کر ان کی تین چٹیاں کر دی گئیں۔ |

| Narrated Hafsa bint Seereen: Um ‘Atiyya said that they had entwined the hair of the daughter of Allah’s Apostle in three braids. They first undid her hair, washed and then entwined it in three braids.” |
