| حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْهُذَيْلِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا , قَالَتْ : ” ضَفَرْنَا شَعَرَ بِنْتِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , تَعْنِي ثَلَاثَةَ قُرُونٍ ” ، وَقَالَ وَكِيعٌ : قَالَ سُفْيَانُ : نَاصِيَتَهَا وَقَرْنَيْهَا . |

| ´ہم سے قبیصہ نے حدیث بیان کی، ان سے سفیان نے بیان کیا، ان سے ہشام نے، ان سے ام ہذیل نے اور ان سے ام عطیہ نے، انہوں نے کہا کہ` ہم نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی بیٹی کے سر کے بال گوندھ کر ان کی تین چٹیاں کر دیں اور وکیع نے سفیان سے یوں روایت کیا، ایک پیشانی کی طرف کے بالوں کی چٹیا اور دو ادھر ادھر کے بالوں کی۔ |

| Narrated Um ‘Atiyya: We entwined the hair of the dead daughter of the Prophet into three braids. Waki said that Sufyan said, “One braid was entwined in front and the other two were entwined on the sides of the head.” |
