| قَالَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : فَمَا هُوَ إِلَّا أَنْ رَأَيْتُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ شَرَحَ صَدْرَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ بِالْقِتَالِ فَعَرَفْتُ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ ” . |

| ´عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا` اس کے سوا اور کوئی بات نہیں تھی جیسا کہ میں سمجھتا ہوں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کو جہاد کے لیے «شرح صدر» عطا فرمایا تھا اور پھر میں نے بھی یہی سمجھا کہ فیصلہ انہیں کا حق تھا۔ |
