| حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : ” إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَّتَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ ، وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّأْمِ الْجُحْفَةَ ، وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنَ الْمَنَازِلِ، وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ هُنَّ لَهُنَّ وَلِمَنْ أَتَى عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ غَيْرِهِنَّ مِمَّنْ أَرَادَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ،وَمَنْ كَانَ دُونَ ذَلِكَ فَمِنْ حَيْثُ أَنْشَأَ حَتَّى أَهْلُ مَكَّةَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ ” . |

| ´ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے وہیب نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے عبداللہ بن طاؤس نے بیان کیا، ان سے ان کے باپ نے اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مدینہ والوں کے احرام کے لیے ذوالحلیفہ، شام والوں کے لیے حجفہ، نجد والوں کے قرن منزل، یمن والوں کے یلملم متعین کیا۔ یہاں سے ان مقامات والے بھی احرام باندھیں اور ان کے علاوہ وہ لوگ بھی جو ان راستوں سے آئیں اور حج یا عمرہ کا ارادہ رکھتے ہوں۔ لیکن جن کا قیام میقات اور مکہ کے درمیان ہے تو وہ احرام اسی جگہ سے باندھیں جہاں سے انہیں سفر شروع کرنا ہے۔ یہاں تک کہ مکہ کے لوگ مکہ ہی سے احرام باندھیں۔ |

| Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Allah’s Apostle (p.b.u.h) made Dhul-Huiaifa as the Miqat for the people of Medina; Al-Juhfa for the people of Sham; Qarn-al-Manazil for the people of Najd; and Yalamlam for the people of Yemen; and these Mawaqit are for the people at those very places, and besides them for those who come thorough those places with the intention of performing Hajj and `Umra; and whoever is living within these boundaries can assume lhram from the place he starts, and the people of Mecca can assume Ihram from Mecca. |
