| حَدَّثَنَا الْمَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، قال : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قال : ” قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَكَّةَ ، فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ سَعَى بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ ، ثُمَّ تَلَا لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ سورة الأحزاب آية 21 ” . |

| ´ہم سے مکی بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن جریج نے بیان کیا کہ مجھے عمرو بن دینار نے خبر دی، کہا کہ` میں نے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے سنا، آپ نے کہا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب مکہ تشریف لائے تو آپ نے بیت اللہ کا طواف کیا اور دو رکعت نماز پڑھی پھر صفا اور مروہ کی سعی کی۔ اس کے بعد عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہ آیت تلاوت کی «لقد كان لكم في رسول الله أسوة حسنة» ”تمہارے لیے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زندگی بہترین نمونہ ہے۔“ |

| Narrated `Amr bin Dinar: I heard Ibn `Umar saying, “The Prophet arrived at Mecca and performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba and then offered a two-rak`at prayer and then performed Tawaf between Safa and Marwa.” Ibn `Umar then recited (the verse): “Verily! In Allah’s Apostle (p.b.u.h) you have a good example. “ |
