| وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا أَقْبَلَ بَاتَ بِذِي طُوًى حَتَّى إِذَا أَصْبَحَ دَخَلَ ، وَإِذَا نَفَرَ مَرَّ بِذِي طُوًى وَبَاتَ بِهَا حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ ، وَكَانَ يَذْكُرُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ . |

| ´اور محمد بن عیسیٰ نے کہا کہ ہم سے حماد بن سلمہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے ایوب نے بیان کیا، ان سے نافع نے بیان کیا کہ` عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما جب مدینہ سے مکہ آتے تو ذی طویٰ میں رات گزارتے اور جب صبح صادق ہوتی تو مکہ میں داخل ہوتے۔ اسی طرح مکہ سے واپسی میں بھی ذی طویٰ سے گزرتے اور وہیں رات گزارتے اور فرماتے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بھی اسی طرح کرتے تھے۔ |

| Narrated Nafi’: Whenver Ibn ‘Umar (ra) approached (Makkah) he used to pass the night at Dhi-Tuwa till dawn, and then he would enter Makkah. On his return, he used to pass by Dhi-Tuwa and pass the night there till dawn, and he used to say that the Prophet (saws) used to do the same. |
