| حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الحَجَّاجِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، ” أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ يُصَلِّي فِي مَسْجِدِ الشَّجَرَةِ ، وَإِذَا رَجَعَ صَلَّى بذي الحليفة بِبَطْنِ الْوَادِي ، وَبَاتَ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ ” . |

| ´ہم سے احمد بن حجاج نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے انس بن عیاض نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبیداللہ نے، ان سے نافع نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب مکہ تشریف لے جاتے تو مسجد شجرہ میں نماز پڑھتے۔ اور جب واپس ہوتے تو ذو الحلیفہ کی وادی کے نشیب میں نماز پڑھتے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم صبح تک ساری رات وہیں رہتے۔ |

| Narrated Ibn `Umar: Whenever Allah’s Apostle left for Mecca, he used to pray in the mosque of Ash-Shajra, and when he returned (to Medina), he used to pray in the middle of the valley of Dhul-Hulaifa and used to pass the night there till morning. |
