| حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : ” لَعَلَّكَ آذَاكَ هَوَامُّكَ ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :احْلِقْ رَأْسَكَ ، وَصُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ، أَوْ أَطْعِمْ سِتَّةَ مَسَاكِينَ ، أَوِ انْسُكْ بِشَاةٍ ” . |

| ´ہم سے عبداللہ بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم کو امام مالک نے خبر دی، انہیں حمید بن قیس نے، انہیں مجاہد نے، انہیں عبدالرحمٰن بن ابی لیلیٰ نے اور انہیں کعب بن عجرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ` رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا، غالباً جوؤں سے تم کو تکلیف ہے، انہوں نے کہا کہ جی ہاں یا رسول اللہ! آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ پھر اپنا سر منڈا لے اور تین دن کے روزے رکھ لے یا چھ مسکینوں کو کھانا کھلا دے یا ایک بکری ذبح کر۔ |

| Narrated `Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Layla: Ka`b bin ‘Ujra said that Allah’s Apostle said to him (Ka`b), “Perhaps your lice have troubled you?” Ka`b replied, “Yes! O Allah’s Apostle.” Allah’s Apostle said, “Have your head shaved and then either fast three days or feed six poor persons or slaughter one sheep as a sacrifice.” |
