| وقَالَ لِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ هُوَ الْأَزْرَقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ : ” أَذِنَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ لِأَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي آخِرِ حَجَّةٍ حَجَّهَا ، فَبَعَثَ مَعَهُنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ ، وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ ” . |

| ´امام بخاری رحمہ اللہ نے کہا کہ مجھ سے احمد بن محمد نے کہا کہ ان سے ابراہیم بن سعد نے بیان کیا، ان سے ان کے والد نے، ان سے ان کے داد (ابراہیم بن عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ) نے کہ` عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنے آخری حج کے موقع پر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی بیویوں کو حج کی اجازت دی تھی اور ان کے ساتھ عثمان بن عفان اور عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہما کو بھیجا تھا۔ |

| Narrated Ibrahim’s grand-father that ‘Umar(ra) in his last Hajj allowed the wives of the Prophet(saws)to perform Hajj and he sent with them ‘Uthman bin ‘Affan(ra) and ‘Abdur-Rahman bin ‘Auf(ra) as escorts. |
