| حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : ” نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَوْمِ يَوْمِ الْفِطْرِ وَالنَّحْرِ ، وَعَنِ الصَّمَّاءِ ، وَأَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ الرَّجُلُ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ . |

| ´ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، ان سے وہیب نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے عمرو بن یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ان کے والد نے اور ان سے ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عیدالفطر اور قربانی کے دنوں کے روزوں کی ممانعت کی تھی اور ایک کپڑا سارے بدن پر لپیٹ لینے سے اور ایک کپڑے میں گوٹ مار کر بیٹھنے سے۔ |

| Narrated Abu Sa`id: The Prophet forbade the fasting of `Id-ul-Fitr and `Id-ul-Adha (two feast days) and also the wearing of As-Samma’ (a single garment covering the whole body), and sitting with one’s leg drawn up while being wrapped in one garment. |
