Hadith in Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ جَبْرٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا ، يَقُولُ : ” كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَغْسِلُ أَوْ كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ بِالصَّاعِ إِلَى خَمْسَةِ أَمْدَادٍ وَيَتَوَضَّأُ بِالْمُدِّ
Urdu Translation
ہم سے ابونعیم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے مسعر نے، کہا مجھ سے ابن جبر نے، انہوں نے انس رضی اللہ عنہ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب دھوتے یا (یہ کہا کہ) جب نہاتے تو ایک صاع سے لے کر پانچ مد تک (پانی استعمال فرماتے تھے) اور جب وضو فرماتے تو ایک مد (پانی) سے۔
English Translation
Narrated Anas: The Prophet used to take a bath with one Sa` up to five Mudds (1 Sa` = [??] Mudds) of water and used to perform ablution with one Mudd of water.
