| حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : ” كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْعَشْرُ ، شَدَّ مِئْزَرَهُ ، وَأَحْيَا لَيْلَهُ ، وَأَيْقَظَ أَهْلَهُ ” . |

| ´ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ مدینی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابویعفور نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوالضحیٰ نے، ان سے مسروق نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ` جب (رمضان کا) آخری عشرہ آتا تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنا تہبند مضبوط باندھتے (یعنی اپنی کمر پوری طرح کس لیتے) اور ان راتوں میں آپ خود بھی جاگتے اور اپنے گھر والوں کو بھی جگایا کرتے تھے۔ |

| Narrated Aisha: With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, the Prophet used to tighten his waist belt (i.e. work hard) and used to pray all the night, and used to keep his family awake for the prayers. |
