| حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : ” كُنَّا نُرْزَقُ تَمْرَ الْجَمْعِ وَهُوَ الْخِلْطُ مِنَ التَّمْرِ ، وَكُنَّا نَبِيعُ صَاعَيْنِ بِصَاعٍ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لَا صَاعَيْنِ بِصَاعٍ ، وَلَا دِرْهَمَيْنِ بِدِرْهَمٍ ” . |

| ´ہم سے ابونعیم نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے شیبان نے بیان کیا، ان سے یحییٰ نے، ان سے ابوسلمہ نے، ان سے ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ` ہمیں (نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی طرف سے) مختلف قسم کی کھجوریں ایک ساتھ ملا کرتی تھیں اور ہم دو صاع کھجور ایک صاع کے بدلے میں بیچ دیا کرتے تھے۔ اس پر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ دو صاع ایک صاع کے بدلہ میں نہ بیچی جائے اور نہ دو درہم ایک درہم کے بدلے بیچے جائیں۔ |

| Narrated Abu Sa`id: We used to be given mixed dates (from the booty) and used to sell (barter) two Sas of those dates) for one Sa (of good dates). The Prophet said (to us), “No (bartering of) two Sas for one Sa nor two Dirhams for one Dirham is permissible”, (as that is a kind of usury). (See Hadith No. 405). |
