| حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ : ” لَا يَجْعَلْ أَحَدُكُمْ لِلشَّيْطَانِ شَيْئًا مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ يَرَى أَنَّ حَقًّا عَلَيْهِ أَنْ لَا يَنْصَرِفَ إِلَّا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ ، لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَثِيرًا يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ ” . |

| ´ہم سے ابوالولید نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے سلیمان سے بیان کیا، ان سے عمارہ بن عمیر نے، ان سے اسود بن یزید نے بیان کیا کہ عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ` کوئی شخص اپنی نماز میں سے کچھ بھی شیطان کا حصہ نہ لگائے اس طرح کہ داہنی طرف ہی لوٹنا اپنے لیے ضروری قرار دے لے۔ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اکثر بائیں طرف سے لوٹتے دیکھا۔ |

| Narrated `Abdullah: You should not give away a part of your prayer to Satan by thinking that it is necessary to depart (after finishing the prayer) from one’s right side only; I have seen the Prophet often leave from the left side. |
