| حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ هُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : ” احْتَجَمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَعْطَى الَّذِي حَجَمَهُ ، وَلَوْ كَانَ حَرَامًا لَمْ يُعْطِهِ ” . |

| ´ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے خالد نے جو عبداللہ کے بیٹے ہیں بیان کیا، ان سے خالد حذاء نے بیان کیا، ان سے عکرمہ نے اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پچھنا لگوایا اور جس نے پچھنا لگایا اسے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کی اجرت بھی دی، اگر اس کی اجرت حرام ہوتی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس کو ہرگز نہ دیتے۔ |

| Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Once the Prophet got his blood out (medically) and paid that person who had done it. If it had been illegal, the Prophet would not have paid him. |
