| حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ” نَهَى عَنْ الْمُزَابَنَةِ ” ، قَالَ : وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ أَنْ يَبِيعَ الثَّمَرَ بِكَيْلٍ إِنْ زَادَ فَلِي وَإِنْ نَقَصَ فَعَلَيَّ . |

| ´ہم سے ابوالنعمان نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے حماد بن زید نے، ان سے ایوب نے، ان سے نافع نے اور ان سے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مزابنہ سے منع فرمایا۔ انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ مزابنہ یہ ہے کہ کوئی شخص درخت پر کی کھجور سوکھی کھجور کے بدل ماپ تول کر بیچے۔ اور خریدار کہے اگر درخت کا پھل اس سوکھے پھل سے زیادہ نکلے تو وہ اس کا ہے اور کم نکلے تو وہ نقصان بھر دے گا۔ |

| Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet forbade Muzabana; and Muzabana is the selling of fresh fruit (without measuring it) for something by measure on the basis that if that thing turns to be more than the fruit, the increase would be for the seller of the fruit, and if it turns to be less, that would be of his lot. |
