| حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : ” لَا تَبِيعُوا الثَّمَرَ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ ، وَلَا تَبِيعُوا الثَّمَرَ بِالتَّمْرِ ” . |

| ´ہم سے یحییٰ بن بکیر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے لیث نے بیان کیا اور ان سے عقیل نے، ان سے ابن شہاب نے، انہیں سالم بن عبداللہ نے خبر دی، اور انہیں عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ` رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، پھل (درخت پر کا) اس وقت تک نہ بیچو جب تک اس کا پکا ہونا نہ کھل جائے۔ اور درخت پر لگی ہوئی کھجور کو خشک کھجور کے بدلے میں نہ بیچو۔ |

| Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: Allah’s Apostle said, “Do not sell fruits of dates until they become free from all the dangers of being spoilt or blighted; and do not sell fresh dates for dry dates.” |
