| حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : ” أَيُّمَا امْرِئٍ أَبَّرَ نَخْلًا ، ثُمَّ بَاعَ أَصْلَهَا ، فَلِلَّذِي أَبَّرَ ثَمَرُ النَّخْلِ ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَهُ الْمُبْتَاعُ ” . |

| ´ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے لیث نے بیان کیا، ان سے نافع نے، اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا جس شخص نے بھی کسی کھجور کے درخت کو پیوندی بنایا۔ پھر اس درخت ہی کو بیچ دیا تو (اس موسم کا پھل) اسی کا ہو گا جس نے پیوندی کیا ہے، لیکن اگر خریدار نے پھلوں کی بھی شرط لگا دی ہے (تو یہ امر دیگر ہے)۔ |

| Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet said, “Whoever pollinates date palms and then sells them, the fruits will belong to him unless the buyer stipulates that the fruits should belong to him (and the seller agrees). |
