| حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، ” نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُتَلَقَّى الرُّكْبَانُ ، وَلَا يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ ” ، قُلْتُ : يَا ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، مَا قَوْلُهُ لَا يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ ، قَالَ : لَا يَكُونُ لَهُ سِمْسَارًا . |

| ´ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے عبدالواحد بن زیاد نے بیان کیا، ان سے معمر نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن طاؤس نے، ان سے ان کے باپ نے، اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے (تجارتی) قافلوں سے (منڈی سے آگے جا کر) ملاقات کرنے سے منع فرمایا تھا۔ اور یہ کہ شہری دیہاتی کا مال نہ بیچیں، میں نے پوچھا، اے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما! ”شہری دیہاتی کا مال نہ بیچیں“ کا کیا مطلب ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ مراد یہ ہے کہ ان کے دلال نہ بنیں۔ |

| Narrated Tawus: Ibn `Abbas said, “The Prophet forbade the meeting of caravans (on the way) and ordained that no townsman is permitted to sell things on behalf of a bedouin.” I asked Ibn `Abbas, “What is the meaning of his saying, ‘No townsman is permitted to sell things on behalf of a bedouin.’ ” He replied, “He should not work as a broker for him.” |
