| حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : ” قَالَتْ الْأَنْصَارُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : اقْسِمْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ إِخْوَانِنَا النَّخِيلَ ، قَالَ : لَا ، فَقَالُوا : تَكْفُونَا الْمَئُونَةَ وَنَشْرَكْكُمْ فِي الثَّمَرَةِ ، قَالُوا : سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ” . |

| ´ہم سے حکم بن نافع نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم کو شعیب نے خبر دی، ان سے ابوالزناد نے بیان کیا، ان سے اعرج نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ` انصار نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کہا کہ ہمارے باغات آپ ہم میں اور ہمارے (مہاجر) بھائیوں میں تقسیم فرما دیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انکار کیا تو انصار نے (مہاجرین سے) کہا کہ آپ لوگ درختوں میں محنت کرو۔ ہم تم میوے میں شریک رہیں گے۔ انہوں نے کہا اچھا ہم نے سنا اور قبول کیا۔ |

| Narrated Abu Huraira: The Ansar said to the Prophet “Distribute the date palm trees between us and our emigrant brothers.” He replied, “No.” The Ansar said (to the emigrants), “Look after the trees (water and watch them) and share the fruits with us.” The emigrants said, “We listen and obey.” |
