| xحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : ” لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَتُقَامَ ، ثُمَّ أُخَالِفَ إِلَى مَنَازِلِ قَوْمٍ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ الصَّلَاةَ ، فَأُحَرِّقَ عَلَيْهِمْ ” . |

| ´ہم سے محمد بن بشار نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے محمد بن عدی نے بیان کیا، ان سے شعبہ نے، ان سے سعد بن ابراہیم نے، ان سے حمید بن عبدالرحمٰن نے، ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، میں نے تو یہ ارادہ کر لیا تھا کہ نماز کی جماعت قائم کرنے کا حکم دے کر خود ان لوگوں کے گھروں میں جاؤں جو جماعت میں حاضر نہیں ہوتے اور ان کے گھر کو جلا دوں۔ |

| Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “No doubt, I intended to order somebody to pronounce the Iqama of the (compulsory congregational) prayer and then I would go to the houses of those who do not attend the prayer and burn their houses over them.” |
