| حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا لِيَ مَالٌ إِلَّا مَا أَدْخَلَ عَلَيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ ، فَأَتَصَدَّقُ ؟ قَالَ : ” تَصَدَّقِي ، وَلَا تُوعِي فَيُوعَى عَلَيْكِ ” . |

| ´ہم سے ابوعاصم ضحاک بن مخلد نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن جریج نے، ان سے ابن ابی ملیکہ نے، ان سے عباد بن عبداللہ نے اور ان سے اسماء رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ` میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! میرے پاس صرف وہی مال ہے جو (میرے شوہر) زبیر نے میرے پاس رکھا ہوا ہے تو کیا میں اس میں سے صدقہ کر سکتی ہوں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”صدقہ کرو، جوڑ کے نہ رکھو، کہیں تم سے بھی۔ (اللہ کی طرف سے نہ) روک لیا جائے۔“ |

| Narrated Asma: Once I said, “O Allah’s Apostle! I have no property except what has been given to me by Az-Zubair (i.e. her husband). May I give in charity?” The Prophet said, “Give in charity and do not withhold it; otherwise Allah will withhold it back from you . “ |
