| حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي تَيْمِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّ لِي جَارَيْنِ ، فَإِلَى أَيِّهِمَا أُهْدِي ؟ قَالَ : ” إِلَى أَقْرَبِهِمَا مِنْكِ بَابًا ” . |

| ´ہم سے محمد بن بشار نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے محمد بن جعفر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ابوعمران جونی سے، ان سے بنو تیم بن مرہ کے ایک صاحب طلحہ بن عبداللہ نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ` میں نے عرض کیا، یا رسول اللہ! میری دو پڑوسی ہیں، تو مجھے کس کے گھر ہدیہ بھیجنا چاہئے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”جس کا دروازہ تم سے قریب ہو۔“ |

| Narrated Aisha: I said, “O Allah’s Apostle! I have two neighbors; which of them should I give a gift to?” The Prophet said, “(Give) to the one whose door is nearer to you.” |
