| حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ رَجُلًا ، قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ” إِنَّ أُمِّي افْتُلِتَتْ نَفْسُهَا وَأُرَاهَا ، لَوْ تَكَلَّمَتْ تَصَدَّقَتْ ، أَفَأَتَصَدَّقُ عَنْهَا ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ تَصَدَّقْ عَنْهَا ” . |

| ہم سے اسماعیل بن ابی اویس نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا کہ مجھ سے امام مالک نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ہشام نے ‘ ان سے ان کے باپ نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہ` ایک صحابی (سعد بن عبادہ) نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کہا کہ میری والدہ کی موت اچانک واقع ہو گئی ‘ میرا خیال ہے کہ اگر انہیں گفتگو کا موقع ملتا تو وہ صدقہ کرتیں تو کیا میں ان کی طرف سے خیرات کر سکتا ہوں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہاں ان کی طرف سے خیرات کر۔ |

| Narrated `Aisha: A man said to the Prophet, “My mother died suddenly, and I think that if she could speak, she would have given in charity. May I give in charity on her behalf?” He said, “Yes! Give in charity on her behalf.” |
