Hadith in Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ، سَأَل رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَيَرْقُدُ أَحَدُنَا وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ ؟ قَالَ : ” نَعَمْ ، إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَرْقُدْ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ
Urdu Translation
´ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے لیث بن سعد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے نافع سے، وہ ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے کہ` عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا کہ کیا ہم میں سے کوئی جنابت کی حالت میں سو سکتا ہے؟ فرمایا ہاں، وضو کر کے جنابت کی حالت میں بھی سو سکتے ہو۔
English Translation
Narrated `Umar bin Al-Khattab: I asked Allah’s Apostle “Can any one of us sleep while he is Junub?” He replied, “Yes, if he performs ablution, he can sleep while he is Junub.”
