| حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : ” صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الظُّهْرَ خَمْسًا ، فَقَالُوا : أَزِيدَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ، قَالَ : وَمَا ذَاكَ ؟ قَالُوا : صَلَّيْتَ خَمْسًا ، فَثَنَى رِجْلَيْهِ وَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ” . |

| ´ہم سے مسدد بن مسرہد نے بیان کیا کہ کہا ہم سے یحییٰ بن سعید بن قطان نے شعبہ کے واسطے سے، انہوں نے ابراہیم سے، انہوں نے علقمہ سے انہوں نے عبداللہ سے، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے (بھولے سے) ظہر کی نماز (ایک مرتبہ) پانچ رکعت پڑھی۔ صحابہ نے پوچھا: کیا نماز کی رکعتیں زیادہ ہو گئی ہیں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”آخر بات کیا ہے؟“، صحابہ نے کہا کہ آپ نے پانچ رکعتیں پڑھی ہیں۔ عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ پھر آپ نے اپنے پاؤں موڑ لیے اور (سہو کے) دو سجدے کئیے۔ |

| Narrated `Abdullah: “Once the Prophet offered five rak`at in Zuhr prayer. He was asked, “Is there an increase in the prayer?” The Prophet said, “And what is it?” They said, “You have prayed five rak`at.’ So he bent his legs and performed two prostrations (of Sahu). |
