| حَدَّثَنَا خَلَّادٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ أَيْمَنَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً ، قَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَلَا أَجْعَلُ لَكَ شَيْئًا تَقْعُدُ عَلَيْهِ فَإِنَّ لِي غُلَامًا نَجَّارًا ، قَالَ : ” إِنْ شِئْتِ فَعَمِلَتِ الْمِنْبَرَ ” . |

| ´ہم سے خلاد بن یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے عبدالواحد بن ایمن نے اپنے والد کے واسطے سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما سے کہ` ایک عورت نے کہا یا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! کیا میں آپ کے لیے کوئی ایسی چیز نہ بنا دوں جس پر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بیٹھا کریں۔ میرا ایک بڑھئی غلام بھی ہے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا اگر تو چاہے تو منبر بنوا دے۔ |

| Narrated Jabir: A woman said, “O Allah’s Apostle! Shall I get something constructed for you to sit on as I have a slave who is a carpenter?” He replied, “Yes, if you like.” So she had that pulpit constructed. |
