| حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : ” كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي وَأَنَا رَاقِدَةٌ مُعْتَرِضَةٌ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ ، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُوتِرَ أَيْقَظَنِي فَأَوْتَرْتُ ” . |

| ´ہم سے مسدد بن مسرہد نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے یحییٰ بن سعید قطان نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے ہشام بن عروہ نے بیان کیا، کہا مجھ سے میرے باپ نے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے واسطے سے بیان کیا، وہ فرماتی تھیں کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز پڑھتے رہتے اور میں (آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے) بچھونے پڑ آڑی سوتی ہوئی پڑی ہوتی۔ جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم وتر پڑھنا چاہتے تو مجھے بھی جگا دیتے اور میں بھی وتر پڑھ لیتی تھی۔ |

| Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet used to pray while I was sleeping across in his bed in front of him. Whenever he wanted to pray witr, he would wake me up and I would pray witr. |
