| حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ” أَبْرِدُوا بِالظُّهْرِ فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ ” ، تَابَعَهُ سُفْيَانُ ، وَيَحْيَى ، وَأَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ . |

| ´ہم سے عمر بن حفص بن غیاث نے بیان کیا کہا مجھ سے میرے باپ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے اعمش نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے ابوصالح ذکوان نے ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کے واسطہ سے بیان کیا کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا (کہ گرمی کے موسم میں) ظہر کو ٹھنڈے وقت میں پڑھا کرو، کیونکہ گرمی کی شدت جہنم کی بھاپ سے پیدا ہوتی ہے۔ اس حدیث کی متابعت سفیان ثوری، یحییٰ اور ابوعوانہ نے اعمش کے واسطہ سے کی ہے۔ |

| Narrated Abu Sa`id: that Allah’s Apostle said, “Pray Zuhr prayer when it becomes (a bit) cooler as the severity of heat is from the raging of the Hell-fire.” |
