| حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : “اسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا ، وَإِنِ اسْتُعْمِلَ حَبَشِيٌّ كَأَنَّ رَأْسَهُ زَبِيبَةٌ ” . |

| ´ہم سے محمد بن بشار نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے یحییٰ بن سعید قطان نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے ابوالتیاح یزید بن حمید ضبعی نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کہ` آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا (اپنے حاکم کی) سنو اور اطاعت کرو، خواہ ایک ایسا حبشی (غلام تم پر) کیوں نہ حاکم بنا دیا جائے جس کا سر سوکھے ہوئے انگور کے برابر ہو۔ |

| Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, “Listen and obey (your chief) even if an Ethiopian whose head is like a raisin were made your chief.” |
