| حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : ” إِذَا قَالَ : الْإِمَامُ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا : اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ ، فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ ” . |

| ´ہم سے عبداللہ بن یوسف تنیسی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں امام مالک نے سمی سے خبر دی، انہوں نے ابوصالح ذکوان کے واسطے سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جب امام «سمع الله لمن حمده» کہے تو تم «اللهم ربنا ولك الحمد» کہو۔ کیونکہ جس کا یہ کہنا فرشتوں کے کہنے کے ساتھ ہو گا، اس کے پچھلے تمام گناہ بخش دیے جائیں گے |

| Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “When the Imam says, “Sami`a l-lahu liman hamidah,” you should say, “Allahumma Rabbana laka l-hamd.” And if the saying of any one of you coincides with that of the angels, all his past sins will be forgiven.” |
