| حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ هِنْدٍ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، ” أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَإِذَا سَلَّمَ يَمْكُثُ فِي مَكَانِهِ يَسِيرًا ” ، قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ : فَنُرَى وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ لِكَيْ يَنْفُذَ مَنْ يَنْصَرِفُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ . |

| ´ہم سے ابوالولیدہشام بن عبدالملک نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے ابراہیم بن سعد نے بیان کیا انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے زہری نے ہند بنت حارث سے بیان کیا ان سے ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب سلام پھیرتے تو کچھ دیر اپنی جگہ پر بیٹھے رہتے۔ ابن شہاب نے کہا اللہ بہتر جانے ہم تو یہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ یہ آپ اس لیے کرتے تھے تاکہ عورتیں پہلے چلی جائیں۔ |

| Narrated Um Salama: “The Prophet after finishing the prayer with Taslim used to stay at his place for a while.” Ibn Shihab said, “I think (and Allah knows better), that he used to wait for the departure of the women who had prayed.” |
