| حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : ” غُسْلُ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَاجِبٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُحْتَلِمٍ ” . |

| ´ہم سے عبداللہ بن یوسف نے حدیث بیان کی، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں مالک نے صفوان بن سلیم کے واسطہ سے خبر دی، انہیں عطاء بن یسار نے، انہیں ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ` جمعہ کے دن ہر بالغ کے لیے غسل ضروری ہے۔ |

| Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: Allah’s Apostle (p.b.u.h) said, “The taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every male (Muslim) who has attained the age of puberty.” |
