| حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : ” كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا ، ثُمَّ يَقْعُدُ ، ثُمَّ يَقُومُ كَمَا تَفْعَلُونَ الْآنَ ” . |

| ´ہم سے عبیداللہ بن عمر قواریری نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے خالد بن حارث نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے عبیداللہ بن عمر نے نافع سے بیان کیا، ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہو کر خطبہ دیتے تھے۔ پھر بیٹھ جاتے اور پھر کھڑے ہوتے جیسے تم لوگ بھی آج کل کرتے ہو۔ |

| Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet (p.b.u.h) used to deliver the Khutba while standing and then he would sit, then stand again as you do now-a-days. |
