| حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : ” إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَنْصِتْ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ ” . |

| ´ہم سے یحییٰ بن بکیر نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے لیث بن سعد نے عقیل سے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن شہاب نے، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھے سعید بن مسیب نے خبر دی اور انہیں ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے خبر دی کہ` رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا جب امام جمعہ کا خطبہ دے رہا ہو اور تو اپنے پاس بیٹھے ہوئے آدمی سے کہے کہ ”چپ رہ“ تو تو نے خود ایک لغو حرکت کی۔ |

| Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle (p.b.u.h) said, “When the Imam is delivering the Khutba, and you ask your companion to keep quiet and listen, then no doubt you have done an evil act.” |
