| حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : ” كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَغْدُو إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى وَالْعَنَزَةُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ تُحْمَلُ ، وَتُنْصَبُ بِالْمُصَلَّى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا ” . |

| ´ہم سے ابراہیم بن المنذر حزامی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے ولید بن مسلم نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے ابوعمرو اوزاعی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے نافع نے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے بیان کیا۔ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عیدگاہ جاتے تو برچھا (ڈنڈا جس کے نیچے لوہے کا پھل لگا ہوا ہو) آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے آگے آگے لے جایا جاتا تھا پھر یہ عیدگاہ میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے گاڑ دیا جاتا اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس کی آڑ میں نماز پڑھتے۔ |

| Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet used to proceed to the Musalla and an ‘Anaza used to be carried before him and planted in the Musalla in front of him and he would pray facing it (as a Sutra). |
