| حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : ” لَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا ” . |

| ´ہم سے معلی بن اسد نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے وہب بن خالد نے (فضل جہاد میں) بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے حمید طویل نے اور ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”اللہ کے راستے میں گزرنے والی ایک صبح یا ایک شام دنیا سے اور جو کچھ دنیا میں ہے سب سے بہتر ہے۔“ |

| Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said, “A single endeavor (of fighting) in Allah’s Cause in the forenoon or in the afternoon is better than the world and whatever is in it.” |
