| حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : ” اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ ، وَالْجُبْنِ ، وَالْهَرَمِ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا ، وَالْمَمَاتِ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ ” . |

| ´ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے معتمر نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے اپنے والد سے سنا ‘ انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا ‘ انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ` رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرمایا کرتے تھے ”اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں عاجزی اور سستی سے ‘ بزدلی اور بڑھاپے کی ذلیل حدود میں پہنچ جانے سے اور میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں زندگی اور موت کے فتنوں سے اور میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں قبر کے عذاب سے۔“ |

| Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet used to say, “O Allah! I seek refuge with You from helplessness, laziness, cowardice and feeble old age; I seek refuge with You from afflictions of life and death and seek refuge with You from the punishment in the grave.” |
