| حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، ” أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَعَى النَّجَاشِيَّ فِي الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ خَرَجَ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى فَصَفَّ بِهِمْ وَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا ” . |

| ´ہم سے اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے مالک نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن شہاب نے، ان سے سعید بن مسیب نے، ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ` رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نجاشی کی وفات کی خبر اسی دن دی جس دن اس کی وفات ہوئی تھی۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز پڑھنے کی جگہ گئے۔ اور لوگوں کے ساتھ صف باندھ کر (جنازہ کی نماز میں) چار تکبیریں کہیں۔ |

| Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle informed (the people) about the death of An-Najashi on the very day he died. He went towards the Musalla (praying place) and the people stood behind him in rows. He said four Takbirs (i.e. offered the Funeral prayer). |
